manufacturing, agriculture, branding, etc.) The tutorials provide a step-by-step introduction to the game through eight individual modules that explore some of the more complex elements of the game (e.g. Each month is shown as a bar (to scale) so that you can gauge how you are doing. However, the most important areas here are the companies available cash and your profit/loss over the past twelve months. The information panel provides the ability to toggle (hide) the action bar, toggle the minimap, view the entire “world” (it’s also how you found new cities). The Goal tracker provides an opportunity to get some additional income or game score for completing different activities from founding cities to cornering a market. The building menu is paramount for building your capitalist empire whether you are trying to build a real estate market (high/sustainable income, limited expansion ability), research and development (to gain a competitive advantage), to set up your storefront, or to start/build up your supply chain. The game is quite immersive, you’ll find yourself sinking hours into trying to perfect your supply chain and identifying the best placement for your buildings. You can also choose to begin a real estate empire (though, this benefits substantially from the expansion content). The base game gives you the opportunity to do research and development, manufacturing, reselling, private labeling, and more. After naming your company, identifying the company colors, and selecting a brand comes the really hard part, figuring out your industry. You are the founder and CEO of your company.
